Jake is responsible for GatePass's investment activity, financing, and strategic partnerships. Through his involvement in multiple businesses, he has built a reputation for honesty, reliability, and velocity — facilitating and managing over $500M in capitalized transactions.
Jake began his career as a commercial real estate broker with Marcus & Millichap, later transitioning to investing in and developing retail properties for 7-Eleven, Dutch Brothers, Del Taco, McDonald's, and other nationally recognized brands.
He graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a degree in Entrepreneurship and Marketing.
Brennen has built and led high-performing fleet operations across the automotive and logistics industries, generating tens of millions in revenue through strategic vehicle sourcing, remarketing, and process optimization. His experience includes managing over $400M in assets and leading large operational teams.
Before launching GatePass, he held leadership roles in investor relations, fleet remarketing, and logistics at national-scale operations. He earned his degree from Birmingham-Southern College, where he developed a foundation in business, critical thinking, and strategic leadership.
